This unique sports complex offers lots of possibilities for training sport and leading healthy life. A large number of competitions in football, track and field athletics, ice speedway and other disciplines of Russian and international scale are held at the stadium. 8 tracks with polyurethane tartan two-layer surface, two sectors for pole vault, two sectors for length and triple jumping, sector for shot throwing as well as a pit for steeplechase are there for track and field athletics training. Besides, in the indoor arena of the stadium there are 3 track and field athletics tracks and jumping pits. Here sportsmen train all year round. Besides track and field athletics, competitions in martial arts (karate, sambo, etc.), sports and ballroom dancing, fire sports are held in the indoor arena of the stadium. In the territory of the stadium a football ground with artificial surface of the fifth generation is located. It allows holding football matches and training of the highest level. The stadium has four stands – Western, Eastern, Southern and Northern as well as a VIP-stand. All of them are equipped with modern plastic chairs. The stadium rooms 14 000 people. Café “Champion” for 32 people is located in the territory of the stadium. Football club “Mordovia” as well as Inter-Regional Centre of Young Footballers’ Training are at the stadium. Besides, stadium “Lisma-Svetoteknika” comprises a physical culture and sports centre located at 2 B Lesnaya st., Saransk with a fitness hall, aerobics hall, gym and sauna. Motor Club “Mordovia” established in 1995 is also part of “Lisma-Svetoteknika” stadium. Titles of the motor club include: Champion (2000, 2001) and silver medallist (2002) of Team World Championships, 4-times Champion of Russia in team placing, 2-times silver medallist of Team Championship of Russia, 3-times bronze medallist of Team Championship of Russia, bronze medallist of Team Championship of Russia among junior teams. On the basis of the stadium individual and team championships in ice speedway both of Russian and world scale have been held for many years. These competitions attract fans both from Russia and from Europe.

For many years stadium “Svetoteknika” has been organiser of cultural and sports mass events: concerts of Russian pop stars, different shows and parades, Malye Olympic Games, competitions of the Privolzhsky Federal District, stages of individual and team Russia and World championships in ice speedway as well as many other international and Russian competitions have been held.
